Subject:	SHRI RAYARU SAVES ME FROM A SNAKE IN THE HOTEL ROOM
Miracle:	This incident narrated below happened to me in Chennai in the year 2001 in one of India\'s oldest & best-known 5 star hotel chains (name withheld). I was in the field of IT Consulting at that time and continue to do so now. The company I was working for had deputed me from Mumbai to New Delhi and then onto Chennai for a project with a client. The client was a multinational company in the FMCG industry and they arranged for my hotel stay in the hotel described above. Prior to leaving home in Thane / Mumbai, I had started a small seva to Shri RAGHAVENDRA SWAMI and decided to continue reciting SHRI GURU\'s Sthotras on reaching New Delhi as well as in Chennai. I spent 2 days in New Delhi and from there on went to Chennai. After reaching Chennai, right from the first day of checking into the hotel, I had been having a bizzare thought in my mind...just out of the blue. The thought was : \"There might be a snake within the hotel room\". Surpisingly, this thought did not occur to me while I was in New Delhi but only after reaching Chennai. At first, I brushed aside the thought thinking it was my idle mind which was giving me rotten thoughts. However, it would not subside and I was getting the same thought frequently. Everyday, I would return from work to the hotel in the evening and I would think there is a snake near the door. This was the same hotel room where I was reciting Shri Raghavendra Swami Stothra everyday in the morning and doing namaskaaras to HIM. These thoughts continued to occur for about 10 days. Later, one evening as I was about to enter the room after returning from the client\'s office, I found a rope-like object which was 3 to 4 feet in length and lying about 6 feet away from the door in a sidways position against the wall. I was standing outside the room and had not switched on the lights. Using the lights in the corridor outside, I was trying to recollect whether I had left any such object in the room in the morning prior to leaving for work. In a fraction of a second, the rope started moving swiftly. Immediately, I realised the object was a snake. I shut the door and ran to the Reception and screamed for help. The main desk rushed some security personnel to the room. The snake had in the meanwhile gone under the bed and other furniture. Finally, the security personnel managed to locate it and had the snake removed. MORAL OF THE STORY :- All along I had been wondering with regard to how the mind of an ordinary person like me could become powerful to visualise the thought of a snake in the room and then, the thought could get translated into a real event. I kept thinking on this and the truth finally dawned on me 4 years later. The realisation I got was : This was SHRI GURU\'s way of warning and preparing me for the event that was to happen in my life. HE let the thought appear in my mind from a few days before the event so that I could remain mentally alert, anticipate the event and be prepared for it. It was my bad karma that I was to have an encounter with the snake, however, the GRACE of SHRI GURU RAYARU is what saved me from what might have been even more dangerous or fatal. Further to this, there was another episode of the same type at the same hotel a few days later with me - involving a thought & an event. This time it was a creature in my food. I can conclude that the above thoughts & events and the protection provided to me can be purely attributed to the infinite GRACE of SHRI GURU RAGHAVENDRA THEERTHARU and just the tip of an iceberg of divine events due to HIS blessings that have occured in my life.
